At Life Meets Work, we’re on a mission to become the best flexible work job site on the internet.
How many times have you ended up at a part-time or flex work site only to find jobs dedicated to retail and service work, franchise, or
home-based business opportunities?
How many times have you searched for flex work on the big job sites, only to have a bunch of traditional, full-time jobs pop up?
Well, that’s not what you’ll find here.
At Life Meets Work, the only jobs you’ll find are the truly flexible ones—telecommuting, part-time, temporary, job-share and contract (sometimes called interim, surge or project work.).
We screen all of our jobs to make sure they meet our criteria for flexible work and if they don’t, we throw them back.
As you can imagine, this is no easy task. Ever since the Industrial Revolution, the working world has been set up to require time clocks and face time. Change is slow, but take heart. If you’ve looked around our site, you know that many people and organizations are trying to change that. There’s a movement afloat to hasten the shift to a new way of working.
Here, at Life Meets Work, we’re working hard to find these flexible jobs—across
the country, at all career levels and in all industries—and bring them to you. If you know of employers you think we should talk to, let us know.
