Use SMART Goals for Professional Growth

In a corporate context, individual performance objectives are commonly established for the year ahead in the context of the company’s performance management process. Reviews may be scheduled at the halfway mark and at the end of the year. These reviews are used to evaluate performance against objectives, monitor personal growth and development and perhaps as a basis for calculating group and individual bonuses.

Before you enter into your review, focus on your own individual development. Use SMART goals to provide focus.
